Jože Plečnik. The great architect transformed Ljubljana from an Austrian provincial city into a very special capital. Since 2021, his works have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Do you know his works?
The guided tour lasts three hours and we start with a guided tour of Plečnik’s home. We will continue the tour with a walk around the city, where we will see some of his most important works.

The price does not include the entrance fee to Plečnik’s house (4 – 6 € per person).

Where do these vegetables in the market come from?
We will take you by bike or on foot through a mostly unknown environment near the city. Visit farms where you will have the opportunity to buy home-grown vegetables and products and hear interesting stories.
How many dragons are there on the Dragon Bridge?
You will find out the answer during a trip around Ljubljana.
The fields close to the city provide us vith fresh vegetables. They are sold on the central market and small farm shops aswell. But in the winter the fields rest waiting for the warm spring.

I’m sending this thank you email to express my appreciation of the tour I had yesterday with Tomas.
I was worried when I initially booked it about being a rushed through one with lots of content without having enough quality time to spend on each part, but it was really the opposite. The organisation and time allocations were perfect.
The competence and attitude of the guide is the one that makes or breaks any tour; regardless of how good the tour program is. Tomas was one of the best guides I have seen over my 25 years of travel. His knowledge, accommodating attitude, flexibility, and understanding of customer needs is really what makes it a wonderful and memorable time in Slovenia.
Not to forget to mention the WhatApp follow up. It was one extra mile on the road.

ich hoffe, ich habe Deinen Namen richtig geschrieben. Also: es war für
uns ein grosser Spass (und sehr interessant und lehrreich), mit Dir
durch Lubljana zu fahren. Wir haben noch zwei Stunden in der Innenstadt
im Kaffe gesessen ( … ich habe zwei Bier getrunken). Heute sind wir
auf dem Zeltplatz Sobec noch etwas wandern gewesen – morgen geht es nach
Hause.

“Fantastic guide, beautiful sights and learned so much about Slovenia!“
This tour left us wanting to come back! Despite heavy rain, this tour was by far the best thing we did during our stay in Slovenia. Our guide, Tomaz, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertained us all day with stories about the country. He showed wonderful sights – even in the rain! There was plenty of time to see everything as well as warm up in cosy cafes and sample some culinary delights. I would absolutely recommend and I hope we return one day to do a different tour.
